It is a multi-functional, fully integrated urban environment that is strategically located within Tabuan Jaya-Samarahan Growth Corridor.
Located on the Kota Samarahan Expressway is accessible via Jalan Stutong and Jalan Canna from the city and from Jalan Muara Tuang from 7th Mile. So why is this area so popular? It is because it lies on the fringe of Kuching City and Sama Jaya Industrial Area, it is accessible via all the major roads and is close to the new Sarawak Club Golf Course, Unimas and the soon to be inaugurated Sarawak International Medical Center. The living environment and surroundings combine lots of green areas and all the amenities in a well laid out development. Due to the scarcity of land in the nearby Tabuan Jaya area

Kuching bustling with activity

With the number of on-going and future developments scheduled, property investment in Kuching is on the upsurge especially in the prime areas and within the vicinity of the Kuching waterfront.

Kuching is the capital of the East Malaysian State of Sarawak and elevated to city status in August 1988. Kuching is the most populous city in the state of Sarawak and the fourth largest urban area in Malaysia after Kuala Lumpur-Klang Valley, Ipoh and Johor Bahru.

Roads within the city are of a reasonable standard, though traffic congestion often leads to long tailbacks during rush hour, and especially on Saturday mornings. Roads leading outside of Kuching to the interior are of a slightly more dubious quality but are being upgraded from time to time

Kuching, like most towns in Sarawak, has connections to other urban centres and settlements by water transportation. Between the banks of the Sarawak River, near the city center, many small boats can be seen ferrying passengers from one riverbank to the other. For those staying along the river banks, it is a faster means of getting to the city-proper.

The wharf for express boats servicing transport to further areas such as Sibu and Bintulu, is located in the east of the city, near the Sim Keng Hong Port, also known as the Tanah Puteh Port, in Pending.

Private education in the city comes in the form of various private colleges as well as training institutes that include King Business Institute, IBMS, Inti College, SeGI College, Taylor’s College, Chermai College, PTPTL College as well as Stamford College.

The two International Schools are Lodge School and Tunku Putra built to cater to the children of expatriates and parents who wish to have an English-based education for their children.

The Kuching waterfront, which is really a riverside esplanade, is situated right next to the main hotels and commercial heartland of the city and some other interesting areas near the centre of town include Padungan Street, which is the main Chinatown area of the city, Carpenter Street and India Street. The old Courthouse building forms the link between Carpenter Street and India Street, and there are many well-manicured parks dotted around the city.

On-going and future developments include Boulevard Shopping Complex, ICON mall (the biggest shopping complex cum hotel apartment project in King’s Centre), Green Heights Mall, Imperial Hotel Apartment, Isthmus Hypermarket Mall, Kuching Tower (slated to be the tallest building in Borneo), Mudajaya New Township and 4-star international hotel cum shopping centre Novotel Interhill Kuching.

Other notable developments include One TJ (Sarawak’s first ICT shopping mall), Plaza Merdeka, Samariang Mall, Sarawak Convention and Exhibition Centre, Sarawak International Medical Centre, The Spring shopping mall and Four Points Hotel by Sheraton.

With the number of on-going and future developments scheduled, property investment in Kuching is on the upsurge especially in the prime areas and within the vicinity of the Kuching waterfront.
